For people of all ages and stages of life, from the beginner to the more experienced yoga practitioner. All of our classes are alignment and anatomy based with a focus on clear, accessible instructions and precise, hands-on adjustments; not only allowing students to continually go deeper into postures but helping students gain the utmost benefit from their practices.

Additionally, our classes are designed to promote physical and mental well-being in a friendly, non-competitive environment. We teach Hatha Yoga, the traditional type of yoga using asanas (postures) and pranayama (breathing) to develop accurate alignment, core strength, flexibility, balance, concentration and breath control.

Gentle and Restorative Yoga

A relaxing class designed for rejuvenation and treating fatigue. Classes begin with slow, gentle movements working up to standing and balancing poses to ease restlessness in the mind. Students learn and practice effective breathing and visualization techniques designed to promote confidence, empowerment and trust within oneself. Along with Restorative postures, soothing and well-supported by blankets, blocks, or other props, held for several minutes at a time, allow chronic tension to be released. Appropriate for all levels, an excellent choice for seniors with limited mobility, perinatal mothers, students suffering from chronic illness or injuries, or those newer to yoga.

Iyengar Yoga

This class concentrates on precise body alignment in the basic postures, stability, firmness and comfort when holding the asana. Making use of blankets, straps, chairs, the wall and cork blocks as aids, the student achieves exact alignment of the posture. Poses are held longer than in most other yoga forms, and the emphasis is on deepening your awareness within the postures and building the strength and flexibility necessary to perform the basic postures. Appropriate for students interested in learning the essence and structure of poses; beneficial for experienced students looking to refine and improve their understanding of the poses and to take their practice deeper.

Mat Pilates w/Props

Challenge your body with a focus on spinal flexion, extension and rotation. Instructors lead you through core strengthening techniques to improve overall posture, alignment and flexibility with the use of thera-bands, foam rollers, light hand weights, and circular tension bands. This class is for all levels of ability, and is a perfect complement to cardiovascular exercises, athletes and general rehabilitation, without building bulk or stressing joints. Pilates is also recommended as pre- & post-partum programs, helping build the abdominal muscles connection.

QiGong w/Mindful Meditation

Qigong (pronounced Chi Kung, means “cultivating energy”) is an ancient Chinese health care system practiced for health maintenance, healing and increasing vitality that integrates physical postures, breathing techniques and focused intention. The gentle, rhythmic movements of Qigong enhances body awareness, mental alertness, and proven to improve cardiovascular, respiratory, circulatory, lymphatic and digestive functions. Incorporating mindful meditation practices through surprisingly simple tools, students are profoundly impacted by engaging in the serenity of the present moment.

Sculpt and Stretch

PILATES and YOGA create a near-perfect blend of fast and slow twitch muscle activation, better detoxification, strength, sculpting, cardio optimization and a transformative metabolic boost for up to 24 hours. Both share the same 5 key principles: breathwork, flexibility, concentration, precise whole-body movement and balanced muscle development. The moves fit perfectly together to form a class filled with choreography that’s fun and challenging. Warm up with Core Sun Salutations, power up with a few rounds of High Intensity Interval Training, then cool, cleanse and stretch it out with a refreshing and restoring yoga sequence. Come feel how this one practice can incredibly enhance any style or workout you currently do.

Vinyasa Flow

Vinyasa means “breath-synchronized movement”. A flowing sequence of sun salutations synchronized with breathing techniques, standing and balancing poses, as well as core work to strengthen your body, increase your stamina and flexibility. Transitions between postures are mindful and props are used to modify postures making them accessible to every ability, age, and fitness level. Suitable for Advanced Beginners or Intermediate students who have an understanding of basic postures and are ready to deepen their practice.

Yin Yoga

This class uses the art of storytelling to effectively convey the complex, philosophical ideas of Mindfulness, while guiding practitioners through long-held passive postures that leaving students wizened, tranquil and renewed.This method of training fosters a state of relaxation in the body and can facilitate the development of flexibility, targeting connective tissue, specifically ligaments and tendons in the joints and spine as well as practicing compression of joints to keep them healthy. Over time, this practice lengthens these tissues, increasing range of motion. Modifications for all poses are shown and appropriate for all levels.
